Returns and Shipments
What is your return policy?
Due to the organic nature of the products offered, I am not able to accept returns on teas, herbal blends and botanicals. If your candle arrives damage, please reach out to me via email with your order # reason for exchange and photos showing proof of damaged goods.
Do you offer free shipping?
The free shipping program is on pause indefinitely. I do not have a date on when I will re-implement it.
How long will my order take to ship?
Your order will generally ship within 3 business days after purchase. If you have a rush request, please send me a note at heydacia@bythompson.online and we’ll do our best to make it happen. I am a parent, employed full time and a student, so life around here is productively busy.
Where is my package?
All online orders will receive tracking information via your confirmation email. If your package hasn’t turned up, I recommend checking with your local mail carrier first.
I do not accept responsible for packages lost by the carrier or shipped to the incorrect address. However, I will do my best to compromise where possible.

How do I use your products?
The teas, herbs and botanical can be brewed using a loose leaf brewing basket or single serve steeping pot, all chai blends can be prepared using the stove top method (most recommended) or using a tea pot and the hojicha powder are can be used to make lattes, using the bamboo whisk or be used in bakes. Preparation instructions is listed on all product packaging,
What does your teas taste like?
Each tea, herb and botanical has its own distinct taste profile. Select the tea you are interested in and and scroll to read about its taste. The best way to find out is by purchasing the tea and brewing it :-)
Are your products organic?
Our teas and herbs are all sustainably grown, harvested and sourced from single tea farmers across the major tea producing countries across the globe with certified organic or organically-grown ingredients. Some are organically grown while others are conventionally grown. Both, however, are good and nutritious, having the same health benefits.
My candles are phthalate-free, dye free, made with coconut apricot wax and cotton wicks along with environmentally fragrance oils. If burned as instructed, and in moderation, you and your home should be just fine. If you are sensitive to fragrances, or have chronic respiratory illness such as asthma, always weigh the risks and benefits before purchasing scented products and always use/burn a candle as instructed, in a ventilated space.
Are your products cruelty free, kosher certified, and vegan?
All teas/tisanes offered are plants, literally. Honey is not a vegan product. Our products are not kosher certified.
Do your products contain any sugar or sweeteners?
Both Jamaican honey offered, do contain the sugars fructose and glucose (which your body will break down, to be stored and used as energy). The loose leaf teas, botanical and herbal blends are simply what they are; dried good from the tea plant or various dried flowers and herbs. No added sugars or sweeteners. Hojicha powder is made from stone ground roasted hojicha tea leaves.
What are the nutrition facts?
I currently do not provide nutritional facts on any of our teas/herbs/botanical, I provide supplement facts. This is because the products offered do not specifically contribute to that percent daily value needed for nutrition.
Do you have samples?
As a small sole proprietor company I am not able to offer samples at this time! If you have a question about the product, please send a note to heydacia@bythompson.online
